This BMW E46 M3 Touring Station Wagon is a tribute to the famous BMW E46 M3 Touring concept car from the BMW museum in Munich, Germany. BMW secretly built this single E46 M3 Touring concept in 2000 as a test, but it was never meant to see the light of day. This elusive prototype stayed hidden in BMW’s vault for years, only being revealed to the public in 2020. Our BMW E46 M3 Touring will be an almost exact copy of this prototype and will be delivered as a (almost) new car. BMW E46 M3 Touring #01
Like the E46 M3 Touring concept car, this BMW E46 M3 Touring is painted in the beautiful color Chrome Shadow Metallic (A56), combined with a Cinnamon/black nappa leather interior and silver cube interior trims. The BMW E46 M3 Touring is completely built according to original M specifications based on a standard BMW E46 Touring and a donor BMW E46 M3 Coupé. The body of the Touring is equipped with a vide body, with the rear wheel arches, trunk floor, wider front fenders, bonnet, front bumper and rear bumper of the M3 Coupé. The M3 rear bumper is modified at the top to fit the Wagon tailgate and is equipped with PDC sensors. The body of the Touring is completely disassembled, repainted and then rebuilt as a (almost) new car.
Options
The BMW E46 M3 Touring is equipped with all the options that were available on an M3 at the time, such as automatic lighting, rain sensor, Harman Kardon MK4 Hifi system with navigation and display, bi-Xenon headlights with washer, automatically folding exterior mirrors, glass sliding roof, electrically adjustable sports seats with memory and seat heating, anthracite roof lining, style 67 light-alloy rims and more.
Technique
The S54 3.2i in-line-6 engine, manual gearbox, drivetrain with sper-differential, subframes, suspension and brakes have been transferred from the M3 to the Touring. All parts except for the engine and gearbox have been revised and repainted or powder-coated. The chassis is reinforced with reinforcement plates at all rear mounting points and finished with an HB Body AutoFlex Stonechip coating.
Delivery
The M3 Touring is build to be as original as possible, but if desired by the buyer, the M3 Touring can be changed according to the buyers specifications. The S54 engine that is currently in the car can be replaced for a new engine with matching instrument panel and 0 miles on the clock for an additional price. It is also possible to have other adjustments made, such as the installation of carbon interior trims, a KW coilover kit, CSL wheels, a Brembo big brake kit, etc.
